Paper is published as a standalone npm package — install it from npm and import it like any other dependency:

npm install @beaket/paper

Paper is ESM-only (no CommonJS build). Use it from an ESM project or a bundler (Vite, Next.js, Remix, etc.) — a bare CommonJS require() won't resolve it.
